FAQ
Straight answers to the questions we hear most often.
If your question isn’t here, email us or book a discovery call. There is no such thing as too early a question.
Do we need to replace our existing software?
Usually not. Most property businesses we speak to already run on perfectly good specialist systems: a property CRM or management platform, accounting software, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, document storage and so on. The problem is rarely the individual tools. It is the gaps between them.
Our starting assumption is that we work around and alongside what you already have. Replacing a system is something we would only recommend when it is genuinely the simplest reliable answer, and even then it would be your decision.
Do we need to know what we want automated before we speak to you?
No. Discovery exists precisely to identify opportunities from the way your business currently operates. You show us how work moves through the company, what people do repeatedly, where information lives and where it has to be moved by hand. We work out where better systems would make the biggest difference.
Some of the most valuable improvements we find are in processes nobody had thought of as an “automation” problem. They were just the way things had always been done.
Is this just AI automation?
No. AI is one tool available to us, and a useful one for tasks like reading an incoming email, extracting details from a document, summarising a thread or drafting a first reply for someone to check. But it is not the answer to everything.
Depending on the problem, the right solution may be a conventional integration between two systems, a straightforward automated workflow, a small piece of purpose-built software, an AI-assisted step, or a combination. You should not have to decide which. That is our job.
Can you integrate with our property CRM or management system?
Potentially, yes. It depends on the platform and on the access or APIs it provides. Many property systems offer an API, some offer exports, scheduled reports or email notifications we can work from, and a few are more closed.
We assess this honestly during discovery rather than promising a connection we have not yet confirmed. Where a direct integration is not possible, there is often still a reliable way to move the information.
Is bespoke software expensive?
It depends on the problem and the scope, and we will not pretend otherwise. What has changed is the starting point. Modern cloud platforms, well-documented APIs and AI-assisted engineering mean a focused internal tool or integration no longer needs a large development team or an enterprise-scale budget.
We are also not attached to building things. If a problem can be solved with a well-configured automation between two systems you already pay for, that is what we will recommend.
What size of property business do you work with?
Our focus is growing property businesses that are already operating successfully but where operational complexity has started to create real administrative overhead. That is typically the point where the team is busier than ever, every new hire seems to add coordination rather than capacity, and important information is spread between systems and people.
If that sounds like you, size in headcount or units under management matters less than the shape of the problem.
Will automation replace our staff?
That is not the objective. The aim is to remove the mechanical, repetitive parts of the work, the copying, checking, chasing and re-keying, so the people you have can spend more of their time on the things that need judgement, relationships and property knowledge.
In practice, the businesses that benefit most are the ones that want to grow without administrative work growing faster than they do.
What happens on a discovery call?
You tell us how your business works. What happens when new work arrives, what your team does repeatedly, where information lives and where it has to move, where delays occur and where people have to remember things. There is no presentation and nothing to prepare.
From that conversation we identify where connected systems, automation or software could make a meaningful difference, and we tell you honestly if we do not think we are the right fit. If it makes sense to go further, the next step is a short discovery engagement to map the highest-value opportunities properly.
How long does a project take?
It varies more than a fixed answer would suggest. Connecting two systems so information stops being re-keyed is a very different piece of work from building an internal operations tool used by the whole team, and the scope of each is established after discovery rather than guessed at beforehand.
We prefer to deliver in focused stages so something useful is in place early and improvements build on real use rather than assumptions.
Can you continue supporting the system afterwards?
Yes. That is the “Partners” part of the name. Systems built around a business need to evolve as the business does: new staff, new properties, new suppliers, new software, new regulation. We stay involved, observe how the system performs in real use and continue to improve it.
We can agree an ongoing arrangement that suits the size of what has been built, from light-touch monitoring and occasional changes through to continuous development.
Do you only work with letting agents?
No. Letting and property management are natural fits because they are operationally intensive, but we work across the property sector: estate agencies, property investment companies, sourcing businesses, developers, serviced accommodation operators, property finance and bridging businesses and other operationally busy property companies.
What they have in common is a lot of information moving between systems, suppliers, clients and colleagues every day.
Where are you based, and do you work remotely?
We are based in West Sussex and work with property businesses across the UK. Discovery calls are held online. Where it helps to see how a team actually works, we are happy to spend time on site.

Let's find out where the hours are going.
A discovery conversation is about how your business currently operates, not about technology. You don't need to arrive with an automation idea. Show us how the work moves through your company and we'll help identify where better systems could have the greatest impact.
